"Absolutely a beautiful hotel with great service. We enjoyed our balcony facing Lake Geneva and would eat breakfast and relax on it. It’s located in a great area with many wonderful restaurants. The bed was very comfortable and we really liked the air conditioning as other hotels we’ve stayed in Switzerland did not. Overall a A + experience and we’ll be back. "

"Very clean hotel! We got the big room for a family of four. Nice huge wrap-around balcony with plants. Didn’t mind not having aircondition (early June) because the room felt cool enough with the centralized fan. Huge bathroom. Amazing breakfast! Steps away from metro. Friendly staff! Exceeded expecations."

"The Agora Swiss is located within minutes of the SBB (it's walkable) and right off of a main street in Lausanne. The front desk staff is very customer-focused: pleasant and helpful. The Agora is right near a main busline that services a good portion of Lausanne and goes down to the port of Lake Geneva's cruislines. Our room was very clean, and a good size. Two guest chairs and a small desk. Bedding was plush and comfortable. There is a lounge area at the front of the hotel so you can get out of your room, and the breakfast area on the top floor offers a complete view of Lausanne and Lake Geneva. Great way to start your day! We will surely stay here again!"

"Lausanne is not a big town and the hotel is in the best part of the town. Directly on the lake and just a few steps away from the free tram that takes you up the hill to the "old town", maybe a 5 minute trip. The hotel is definitely a 4 or 5 star accommodation. The building is unique and historical but renovated to feel like a new facility. The rooms and bathrooms are comfortable for European standards. Breakfast was great, we did not have dinner at the hotel. Stayed in 2 rooms, 2 nights with day trips to Bern and Luzerne. My wife did have a very minor exchange 1 morning when asking the reception where the closest church was and the woman responded that they can not discuss religion. So that was a bit petty and weird."

"I had great stay at the Swiss Wine Hotel during a recent trip to Switzerland, where I reconnected with friends and explored the charming city and beyond. The hotel's location is perfect for exploring Lausanne, with Bessières Metro station right outside the door and a convenient Coop supermarket just across the street. The historic Place de la Riponne and the stunning cathedral are also within walking distance of the hotel; just a short stroll across the picturesque Charles Bessières Bridge. My room was immaculately clean and boasted a supremely comfortable bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The only minor drawback was the room's warmth, as it didn't have air conditioning. However, I was able to manage by opening the windows during the day to let in the fresh air and closing them at night to enjoy a peaceful sleep (as my room faced onto the main street). Despite this minor issue, I would definitely consider staying here again on a future visit. In fact, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and conveniently located hotel in Lausanne. Just be prepared for a warm stay during the summer months!"
