"The house was not clean and old. Lots of spiderwebs and spiders inside the house. It can be a beautiful place with the castle and all but it’s not well maintained. There is a lot weeds and the playground equipment are defective. The pool is loose at the edges."

"The property was lovely, very quiet and stunning views. Jean - Pierre and Nadine were very helpful. Fresh bread and croissants were available daily and were very nice. Pool and hot tub were very welcome after a hard day's exploring the Peri- Nord. The Gite was excellent for people with a disability, very accessible with wide corridor and wide doorways. In all I would fully recommend this Gite for a stay and would love to return in the future."

The property feels remote but is actually within really easy distance of the pleasant village of St Pardoux la Riviere which has a couple of restaurants and a well stocked supermarket. Lots to see and do in the surrounding areas and we could easily have spent longer in this part of Perigord."
