"This is an excellent hotel in Champagne which we also used as a great stopover on our family road-trip to Lake Annecy. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the rooms had great views of the vineyards. The spa and pool facilities were also very good although the area does get busy during peak hours as does the car park. The main hotel restaurant is lovely with great staff also and the daily breakfast is to a good standard. Overall, amazing hotel! My only other feedback would be that during our first stopover, there were no staff available during our checkout to help with luggage which for a party of 6 with multiple suitcases can get tedious and ideally, there should be this service at a 5* hotel. The gentleman at the desk refused to help since he had to “man the desk” (with nobody there since it was 7am anyway). We will definitely return though since overall, I would highly recommend this hotel."

"Very helpful staff at reception, were able to secure a table reservation for us and showed us the room. Very clean property and the pool was excellent to have access to. Only minor issue is that although there is a kitchenette there were no items to use it (no cutlery, pans, cups etc) so obviously designed more for campers bringing their own items! There was a kettle/tea and coffee. Massive secure garage so no issue parking. Overall very pleasant and I would stay again if I was in the area."

"Le Mas Champenois was a little oasis in the middle of Chalons. The owners were lovely and the house was spotless. The pool was a wonderful spot to start the day or unwind. Breakfast was perfect. Intimate and quite spot walkable to town about 30 minutes and easy drive. We parked on the street for 3 night with no problems."

"In the room it was difficult to find the way to get onto the Wi-Fi in the end I had to go to the reception to be told how to do it this should be written clearly in the room so that guests are not put to this bother"

"Great hotel within easy walk of the town. Comfortable clean rooms with good amenities, friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was great. The parking (booked in advance) was undercover and excellent. Good value and would recommend."
