"We stayed at Chateau de la Verie for two nights. What a fabulous authentically french hotel. The rooms were spacious, airy, comfortable and immaculatly clean. The owners were very welcoming and organised a restaurant for us to eat at, which was also excellent, just what we needed after a long journey. "Really friendly welcome, nice clean rooms. Very quiet area. Breakfast was great best scrambled eggs I have had for ages."

"The rooms are basic, but okay for one night in the absence of something better. However, we found that the bathroom had not been checked as there was no toilet paper and only one light working which made it very dim and lights out in main room. Bed was hard and not at all comfortable. We did not have breakfast."
