"My fiancée and I chose this destination as a midway point to meet and spend time together. Individually, our travel conditions were absolutely horrible. We were delayed by a day, and my luggage was lost. The hotel staff at Mazagan and the concierge did everything they could to accommodate us and make up for the negativities of our overall experience even though it was not the fault or responsibility of the hotel or their staff. I am extremely grateful for their kindness and expertise. If not for their sincere and caring personnel, this trip would have been extremely negatively impacted. I cannot recommend the Mazagan strongly enough for that resson. I will offer some critique though - no shisha (in the entire region), no jacuzzi, no hot tub. One pool and the water at this time of year was very cold. Technically there are two pools, but one os for children. Otherwise... an amazing experience. Make your reservations, you won't regret it!"

The staff is incredibly friendly, with "Fadil" standing out for being especially helpful and welcoming, which made our experience even better. "This riad is a gem. Our room was huge, clean and very comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly, even bringing us a wonderful bottle of wine with nuts and chips on our first of two nights. It was all very comfortable and I would recommend this riad. "

"Pleasant riad with helpful staff. About a 10 minute walk to the historical ramparts. Portugese Cistern is closed for repairs. About 1/2 hour walk to area with choices of restaurants. Area around the riad was not a touristed area at all. We stopped in El Jadida en route to Casablanca instead of returning to Marrakech from Essaouira, and travelling to Casablanca from Marrakech. However, in hindsight that might have been a better option. "
