"It is very hard to find this property. The GPS does not take you there and it is very very confusing. It took me a good 30 minutes to find and there is no signs out at all. When I received my room I had to get the bathroom cleaned. Overall the cleanliness was ok but not to the standards. They also did the vacuuming at 2:30 am then next night at 4:00 am. The hotel is not insulated so we could hear everything. After the second night of vacuuming I kindly asked the front desk not to do this...

"We have visited 15 Caribbean Islands and Trinidad ranks high on the list, and no doubt Bridge Cabin played a major role. Nothing like being awakened by the sounds of Parrots and Toucans in the treetops around you. Absolutely would stay here again. Once you get used to navigating the roads necessary to reach the cabin, you will absolutely be in love! (Also of note, be sure to come in from the North Coast Rd side, not up Paramin Hill!!! )"

"Review to help others understand the Hotel and star ratings. I read a lot of reviews and I hope I can provide a little clarity. We stayed overnight simply to catch a flight the next day. When we landed and cleared customs there was a gentleman in a white shirt as soon as you exit who asks if you want a taxi. Tell the gentleman you are staying at the “Grand Diamond Hotel” he will walk you outside and get you your complimentary taxi. It’s about a 5 minute drive to Hotel. When we arrived the manager was at the front desk waiting for us. (We arrived at 1am) and he paid the Taxi. All the staff was very friendly, the rooms are perfectly fine, spacious, good beds, fridge with bottled water and a nice shower. The manager asked when we wanted to check out as they said there was flexibility, they arranged taxi back to airport the next day complimentary. We were here for a quick stay but this is an excellent option if you are wanting to stay close to the airport. No concerns at all with safety, overall excellent experience. "
