"The stay was brilliant, 10 minute walk to train station where you can get trains to Sorrento/Pompeii or buses to Amalfi/Positano. Much less crowded than Sorrento centre. The pool area is great and was very quiet when we stayed. The double room although basic, has everything you need including a TV and good AC. "Dolce Vita Residence is a great place to stay. The unit was clean and modern with a nice balcony. Staff was very nice and helpful. Be aware that it is a taxi ride or long walk to town on a main road. There are also many stairs down to the unit. My advice travel light!"

"Very nice place. The gentleman at the front desk was super kind. The whole place is new. The only negative note is that the air freshener used in the rooms is overwhelming. I had to sleep with the windows open because the smell was omnipresent and it even affected my sleep. I looked everywhere to find the source (a plug-in or something) but never found anything. My colleague experienced the same thing in his room. "

"Great value for your money! We had a spacious villa with a table and chairs to sit outside overlooking Sorrento. The pools were great. Water slides to the busy pool and a second pool for adults only with great views as well. Ample on-site parking. Walk down to the beach is about 300 stairs so don't forget anything! Nice small beach with good snorkeling/swimming. "

"There were no surprises, we expected a cabin for a room and thats what we got. Pictures did not deceive. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is located just outside piano di sorrento, 20 minute walk to train, 5 minute train to sorrento. There are also buses at the bottom of the hill. Pool was large, and nice to have pool access in that heat. There is a hill to get access to piano on foot which could be challenging for people with difficulties walking up a hill. I found it challenging...

"Had a nice apartment perfectly located near the beach and restaurants. Staff were great and very friendly. Pool was very cold though but you have the beach nearby. Parking is charged at €20 a night for small cars so that's something to take into account however everywhere charges for parking in Amalfi."
