"first time we have stayed at this ace hotel, although we have used this chain for years. this one is in the service area, although its in its own little part with secure parking, didn't hear any noise at night which I thought I would being near motorway, it was everything you expect from ace hotel, good secure parking, easy reception with quick check in and friendly staff, good clean comfortable rooms of premier inn standard, a good breakfast on offer (although we never take it) standard EV charging in the services, allowed the dog for a tiny fee, super convenient to get straight back on motorway, staff not quite as friendly as others I've stayed in but friendly none the less. highly rate ACE hotels."

"The couple that runs this hotel was very friendly. The room was very nice. Only complaint was no AC. I discussed this with them and possible options. I think they are very much looking into how to resolve this issue (maybe only Americans like me will object to this). Our stay there was during a very hot streak, temperatures were around 100F. Their pool was great and enjoyed their breakfast. Would definitely stay there again."

"From the moment we drove in, we fell in love with Le Clos de la Treille and its setting. Valérie and Jean-Luc's home and gardens are stunning, and the gite is the result of a brilliant renovation.It's spacious, really well equipped, and comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out. Our hosts were as charming, warm and helpful as the gite was perfect. Generous with local tips, time and conversation, without ever being intrusive; they were an absolute pleasure to meet.Bordeaux is really easily reached, as is Arcachon Bay. The location is ideal for exploring this little corner of France, and I don't think we've had a more pleasurable place to stay - against some tough competition. Thank you for having us; I hope we'll be back."

"We enjoyed our stay with Serge and Anne Marie. They made us feel very welcome. They spent a lot of time showing us the places of interest in the area and where to get groceries. We used Google translate to communicate, it was fabulous. We had everything we needed for a comfortable 3 days stay. To go into Bordeaux, we parked at the Cap Metiers Park and ride (12 mins away or you can use Bougnard Park and ride) and caught the Tram B into Bordeaux. You buy a 24 hour transit pass from the kiosk at the Tram station, then you get to ride transit all around Bordeaux and then you use the transit pass to pay for your parking. It's a win win. Less hassle than driving into Bordeaux."
