"Das Haus: Altes Gemäuer inmitten eines mittelalterlichen Dorfensembles mit Schloss und wunderbaren Parkanlagen. Innen stilvoll eingerichtet, sauber, Küche komplett, großzügiges Bad. Detail: wunderbarer antiker Küchentisch mit Marmorplatte und integriertem eingelassenen Nudelholz. Besonders bemerkenswert: das Wasser! Selten so gutes Leitungswasser getrunken.Die Gastgeber: unkompliziert, hilfsbereit, herzlich, dutzende Tipps für den Aufenthalt erhalten (Restaurants, Einkaufmöglichkeiten, Ausflüge). Empfangen mit selbstgebackenem warmem Brot und 1 Flasche Wein. Besser geht's nicht.Die Umgebung: fruchtbare friaulische Ebene, Gemüse, Früchte, Wein (vor allem die autochthonen Sorten Friulano, Ribolla, Malvasia, Refosco; ein Besuch der Weingüter lohnt). Wasserreiches Gebiet, deshalb Schutz vor Stechmücken empfehlenswert. Leicht zu erreichen: das Meer (Grado), Udine, Triest, Weltkulturerbe Aquileia. Venedig ist machbar, ebenso ein Ausflug in die Berge Sloweniens.Zusammenfassend: sehr empfehlenswert"
