Barcelona Airport Hotel

"The hotel was a short ( free) shuttle ride from the airport and the shuttles run pretty frequently. The hotel has two nice restaurants and a bar and the rooms were clean and well appointed. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were serviced daily . I would definitely stay here again if I needed to be near the airport tho if you don’t want to splash out on taxis getting into Barcelona was easy from here as the free shuttle takes you to the airport and from there you can get a bus, tram or train ."

"The property and its facilities are excellent and very beautiful. Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable, and the location was unbeatable, within walking distance of the gothic and ramblas, with other attractions easily ccessible by public transportation. The only downside was that when trying to pay the accommodation tax during online check in the system would not accept cards issued outside Spain. As a result we were directed to the front desk at a nearby property. After such a long journey having to go to another hotel just to complete the check-in process was quite exhausting and stressful"

"It is nowhere near the city centre. But taxis are plentiful and relatively cheap. If you're at the conference centre it's ideal. The local amenities are very much that. But most of the city is 10-15 mins away. The bar and roof top pool are nice. But it is definitely not a holiday hotel as such. Really helpful staff If you need to be in the area it's a very good option"

"Overall I think the place is nice. It is on a nice tree-lined street which makes the experience of the place appealing. La Rambla is very chaotic. There are some areas of this hotel that need MAJOR work. First on the list: The hotel boasts a Spa with a Sauna. I LIVE for Sauna. I barely got to use the Sauna because the spa does not open until 10 am and closes at 8:30 pm. I don't travel to a place to spend the day in the room. IT IS UNACCEPTABLE THAT THE SAUNA IS NOT AVAILABLE 24/7. I had to choose between going out or staying in and going into the Sauna in the evening. NOPE. So I got to use the Sauna ONCE because I was making the most of my time in Barcelona and the time constraints ruined that for me. I need to be able to go to the Sauna at the end of the day, spend about an hour in it, pour myself into the shower and sleep. Sauna is one of the MOST beneficial things for one's overall health and well-being. It is a youth serum. It also makes sleep much more effective and recuperative. Second; The rooms are generally nice, though the walls show water damage, and poorly executed repairs of worn wallpaper and paint. The bathrooms have wonky sometimes outdated and weirdly functioning fixtures."
