"This hotel is secluded high class location in Gaeta. A gem. Charming rooms all overlooking the ocean with a balcony . The private beach is sandy and the sea was crystal clear with no waves. You can walk in the water for distances. Sunlight all day. All restaurants have beach view. The breakfast was included with incredible variety: berries and maple syrup on our stay. The dinner menu was upper class Italian cuisine. It included a variety of fresh fish, pastas and meat. Please note that there...
"Likes:
. Very close to a fantastic beach as well as half hour walk to the old town.
. A lot to see near the hotel.
Dislikes:
. Pool was closed as of September, but this is not communicated when booking. One of the reasons i went there was the pool they have and advertised. Not sure why pool was closed if A/C is still running.
. Shower temperature fluctuations were extreme. Water would get very hot then very cold.
. No draft beer or good tequila in the bar. Bar man did not seem to have...
"The property is an old nunnery and the rooms are compact and the doors are loud when people leave in the morning. The beds and pillows are super hard. At least the rooms are air conditioned. It is 2 miles away from the historic, old city that is worth driving to and walking around. This area of the hotel is not worth exploring by foot. However, the breakfast was included in the room rate and was a 9 out of 10 served outside at the outdoor pavilion near the pool. We did not have dinner on...
"Breakfast was the same everyday. The first night we arrived we asked front desk for recommendations on a restaurant for dinner and they told us they have dinner menu at the hotel. We had dinner and we were very disappointed with our food. They had a set menu. They had a buffet station with salads and fruit. You were able to choose one of 2 pastas and one of 2 entrees. Me and my husband had a combination of the food so we can try the different foods. Both pastas were barely room temperature ...
"This is the same as the Amalfi coast … but cheaper and less crowded. Late September and was quite to very quiet
No rush or hassle
Be prepared to climb a few steps if you want to see the old town
Couple of days here is fine.
Lack of supermarket ( one mini market)
Overall nice place suitable for families. None of the party crowd here"
"Struttura ben tenuta. Ottimo il ristorante ma si mangia solo a la carte. Colazione a buffet ottima
In piscina c'è troppo caos nell orario bimbi.
Non ha i servizi di una 4 stelle S. Non c'è solarium/sdraio in primavera o inverno e non ci sono tavolini all aperto.
Ci sono molte scale e con passeggini/carrozzine si è obbligati a prendere montacarichi molto lenti. Rampe assenti
Abbiamo passato lì 2 notti con un bimbo.
Molto attenti alla pulizia"
