The Casita was the perfect stay for the first night of our road trip. The hot tub was the best way end to a long day on the road. We arrived in the dark but awoke to the beautiful hills the property is located within and the wonderful areas to relax in before heading to our next destination. Definitely want to return and stay for a few days.
We very much enjoyed our one night stay here in the casita. It is super cute and cool and the location is amazing. The bed is very comfortable and the porch out front is great for relaxing. It is a bit more rustic than we expected from the listing but certainly no dealbreakers! Thanks so much for hosting us.
Wonderful spot outside of Sante Fe that has an artsy, eclectic vibe. I would recommend checking in before dark as it a bit hard to navigate otherwise. We love Mr. Darcy!
A bit eccentric but heck it’s NM and we were traveling through looking for an authentic experience and you’ll find it here. Hosts were super nice and easy going.
We really enjoyed our stay in the Adobe Casita. The space was perfect for a one-night respite on our way to and on our way back from Prescott, AZ. We enjoyed walking around the property with our dog checking out the chicken coop and orchard. The town nearby, Madrid, was awesome also. We will definitely keep this place in mind for future trips!
This property is incredible and relaxing. The gardens, patios, and views are beautifully enticing. The well appointed casita is comfortable and creatively decorated. The hot tub is perfect for enjoying the night air and starry skies. Will definitely try to stay here again when the opportunity arrises.
Jill was friendly and welcoming!
The room was clean, comfortable and fun!
We loved the history of the casita and the casual rural grounds. If you like rustic you will love this place!
Everything was great! Casita was clean and comfortable. The breakfast items in fridge were a nice plus—eggs, fruit, milk, and coffee. It was a nice and rustic retreat—a step back to a simpler time. There are so many spots to sit and relax on the grounds. Really enjoyed visiting with our host and of course, breakfast on the patio with Mr. Darcy, their terrier.
Originally we wanted to stay in Santa Fe and were a bit reluctant to stay outside of town. However we wanted to also try something new. That decision was the best thing we could have done.
This little place and the property are absolutely perfect. We ended up staying near there than we did Santa Fe. I know for a fact we will be back.
Poor cleanliness. Poor water filtration. Lack of dishes and cleaning materials. Lack of basic towels, cloths and sanitation. Bed and linens covered in animal hair and dander. No place to put luggage or unpack clothes. No place to hang clothes. Bathroom and shower unsanitary and subpar. Basically a miserable place to stay. VERY DISAPPOINTED in VRBO. Our previous stays in Arizona were never a problem. Guess this differs from state to state.
The room was rustic and unique. Made of adobe, it remained cool throughout the day. We cooked two meals in the kitchen. There were many seating areas to sit outside. The resident furbaby was very friendly. The hosts checked to see if we needed anything.
We were just delighted when we arrived, because this property is so beautiful, whimsical, historic, and so many beautiful flowers and plants. We were greeted on arrival, which was nice. We were just there overnight, but we will remember this place and go again for longer! It's a destination itself. And when we left the next morning, we were really surprised to see how quaint and interesting the town was. Thanks for being awesome! We really needed that.
The loveliest, most comfortable haven in which we've ever had the joy of staying. Inspiring art, gardens, privacy, living sensibilities (living sensibilities especially the most comfortable - not always easy to find in lodging). Everything we could ask for and a hot tub! Thank you. Thank you.
