Stick around for some healthy dose of classic architecture that this holiday home in Namur's Cerfontaine looks like. A quintessential home for a friend’s get-together which mirrors the feel of a café and a castle. Although you would not want to part from this home, but daily essentials can be taken care of in the town centre 1 km away. Have some grub at Restaurants which lies 5 km away. Forest and lake are also close for some tranquil moments amid nature at a distance of 1 km and 5 km. Gather around the barbecue and watch the meat being roasted, a sight of which is enough to make anyone drool. The garden with furniture makes for some long-lost moments of silence and an even more happening spot to rejuvenate. This child-friendly abode is a steal and comes with chic interiors that will draw you in the era of princesses and castles. The airport lies 40 km away making it an easily accessible spot.

Very spacious, clean and well heated house. The house is adjacent to another house, so you are not supposed to make a lot of noise. Owner is very friendly and neighbourhood is calm. There is also a lot of beautifull nature around, recommended!

Unser Aufenthalt auf dem Anwesen in Cerfontaine war fantastisch. Die Restaurierung des Schlosses wurde mit großer Sorgfalt und Respekt gegenüber seiner Geschichte durchgeführt, sodass der Charme der Vergangenheit wunderbar mit modernem Komfort verschmilzt. Es fühlt sich authentisch und frisch zugleich an. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, mit mehr als genug Platz im Kühlschrank, Töpfen, Pfannen und einem guten Ofen – ideal für alle, die gerne kochen. Der Kontakt mit dem Eigentümer verlief reibungslos und das Haus bot ausreichend Platz für unsere Gruppe. Für uns war es ein toller Ort, um in Ruhe aus der Ferne zu arbeiten (und auch gutes WLAN!). Die Gegend ist wunderschön und bietet zahlreiche Wandermöglichkeiten. Das Schloss ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt zur Erkundung der Region. Ein absolutes Muss!

Ein wunderschönes historisches Gebäude mit ausreichend Parkplätzen und einem wunderschönen ummauerten Garten. Schöne und ruhige Lage in einem malerischen Dorf, in der Nähe unter dem Kirchturm gibt es ein Restaurant und ein Café. Der einzige Nachteil des Schlosses: Küchengeräte. Kein Wasserkocher, Croque Monsieur, Toast oder Mixer vorhanden.

Das Haus war ordentlich, geräumig und kühl, konnte aber eine Reihe kleiner Dinge verbessern, die einen großen Unterschied machen würden. In der Küche sind nicht alle Standardausstattungen für ein Haus mit 15 Personen vorhanden. Nicht genügend Gläser, keine Kaffeemaschine (nur Senseo), was es für eine so große Gruppe nicht einfach macht, den Garten zu nutzen, aber abends gibt es keine Beleuchtung: eine gute Sache Wir haben Kerzen mitgebracht. Pünktlich um 22 Uhr kommt der Nachbar und beschwert sich über die Lärmbelästigung (man muss also ins Haus flüchten). Das WLAN/TV funktionierte langsam und meist nicht ausreichend. Die Nachtruhe war wunderbar - keine Lärmprobleme. Der Gastgeber selbst ist ein charmanter, süßer Mann mit einer guten Seele und auf jeden Fall offen für Veränderungen. Aber kurz gesagt, dieses Ferienhaus könnte im Jahr 2024 ein Update gebrauchen :-)

Mega wohl gefühlt. Werden bestimmt wieder kommen. Hab mich wie ne Prinzessin gefühlt, auch wenn ich selbst gekocht habe. Wünsche mir das nächste Mal viel Sonne und nicht wie jetzt Regen. Man macht ja das beste draus 😍😂 immer wieder gerne

Vår opphold i dette sjarmerende feriehuset i Cerfontaine var absolutt herlig! Kombinasjonen av klassisk arkitektur og stilige interiører fikk oss virkelig til å føle at vi levde i et eventyr, Den romslige hagen var perfekt for vårt familiegrill, og barna hadde det moro med å løpe rundt, Vi satte også stor pris på å være bare en kort kjøretur fra lokale restauranter som Bacchus and Friends, hvor vi hadde en hyggelig middag, De fredelige omgivelsene, inkludert den nærliggende innsjøen, ga et perfekt tilfluktssted til naturen, Anbefales på det sterkeste for en avslappende ferie!

Het is een geweldig huis met heel veel ruimte, prachtige slaapkamers met aangrenzende badkamers. 2 volledig ingerichte keukens en een heerlijke eet- en woonkamer. Alles wat je nodig hebt voor een heerlijk ontspannen verblijf is aanwezig, een absolute aanrader. Erg handig is een goede supermarkt op een paar minuten rijden. We zijn goed geholpen door een vriendelijke eigenaar. Heel goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. We waren net 2 gezinnen, totaal 11 personen en hebben het heerlijk gehad!

Wij hebben er mooie herinneringen gemaakt. We waren met 8 volwassenen en 3 baby’s. Je waant je echt in een kasteeltje. Het is er schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Zoals het hoort in een oud kasteel is niet alles recht maar dat hoort er echt bij. Het is ook een beetje in kasteel stijl ingericht. Wij hebben de meeste tijd in de gezellige eetkamer door gebracht. Tot slot een zeer uitgebreide keuken van alle moderne gemakken voorzien. Als enige tip voor de eigenaar (wat overigens een zeer vriendelijke man is) de eetkamerstoelen zijn echt aan vervanging toe.

Pratiquement tout ce que nous aurions pu demander !
