"The first room that I was given, smelt terribly of cigarette smoke when I entered. I opened the balcony door to get some fresh air into the room. I very quickly closed the door again, as there was a pile of cigarettes butts in the middle of the balcony. I went down to the reception area to inform them of the situation. They very quickly & most apologetically gave me a much better room."

"Beds were comfortable unit clean Great shower Downside water in shower did not drain away very well But still an excellent stay and will definitely be back and recommend to others Deb M"

"Mold inshore on Windows and smells of dampest"

"Friendly, helpful staff"

"Location of motel was excellent with good access to public transport. Although on a fairly busy main road we did not hear any traffic noise. Whilst comfortable, the mattress tended to throw us together in the middle of the bed."

"Fantastic location, simple rooms, easy check in, exactly what it looks like. Great place to stay and check out Fitzroy on a budget."

"Very noisy at night and early morning then requested a $250 bond (absolutely un heard of)"

"Every thing was very good. Staff member was excellent"

"Very nice and modern room, great in all areas of; cleanliness, bed, water pressure, wifi air conditioning and staff. In particular great location surrounded by parks. Zoo is just a 10 minute walk also Brunswick shops are very interesting also just a 10 minute walk away."

"Everything was very clean, and the staff was so helpful and friendly. The location was great with easy access to transportation! I’d say the only thing to be aware of is that the rooms are very compact, the bathroom door glass, and you should che k the hours of the dining room"

"Convenient in Carlton, great customer service"

"Everything was exceptional however we couldn’t find a bin in the kitchenette area and had to use the small bin in the toilet and the mattress/pillows were a bit too firm for our liking."

"Great and awesome place to stay. Close to everything in CBD, trains and tram"

"Nice eclectic boutique-style hotel. Breakfasts were very good and the service also. Very comfortable environment."

"This is my first one-star review and it is very valid. I have stayed many times at this property and understand its location and proximity to the hospital. I have always found the rooms to be clean and comfortable. The front desk staff are your biggest issue. The are lazy and often distracted and the desk is often empty. On my check in day, I called ten times and no answer, I then had Expedia call the property and no answer. I sent an email and no reply. There is no way a guest can check in...

"Easy to checkin and checkout, parking at the apartment is very convenient. Room view is nice, location is great, it’s close to tram stops, walking distance to few eateries nearby."

"Staff was very helpful and apartment was clean. Included secure parking which was very helpful."

"New / modern hotel, clean, friendly staff, well located."
