"Sines Sea View was a great choice as we traveled south down the west coast of Portugal. It’s ‘billed’ as a business hotel (apparently Sines is working hard to become a business and tech hub and there’s lots of building going on) - we were on holiday and for us it made a welcome stay in a modern, comfortable hotel. Staff were friendly and efficient, parking was free and in an underground carpark. Our room was comfortable if slightly white and lacking in character. It had a fridge and everything you needed. We ate in the restaurant and it was amazing - really very good modern Portuguese food. Also breakfast was excellent. Sines itself is not the prettiest but heading south there are some lovely beaches and towns. The immediate area around the hotel is very much work in progress: lots of building going on right now almost like a new build housing estate. A great choice of a hotel on our holiday. "

"What a wonderful small hotel! Although it is small in terms of the number of rooms, the room itself was a very nice size and the balcony was a real sized balcony. The hotel is immaculate! The bed was comfortable, the staff was extremely attentive to us, and we loved the breakfast . (Try both the tomato jelly and the pumpkin jelly. Excellent). The hotel is right in the middle of the town, which is totally charming, so everything is convenient to walk to. I would highly, highly recommend this hotel!"

"We had a fantastic 8 night stay in this comfortable, rustic cottage, which has everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. The terrace gets the sun all day long and the views are amazing. Inside the house is very comfortable, but we didn’t spend much time inside as the outside is so fantastic. We loved watching the night’s sky and saw shooting stars every night. The cottage is in an amazing setting. There are 2 other cabins on the property, but the plot is so large that you can’t see or hear them. There is a private lake, with seating making it perfect for an evening drink or picnic! The private viewpoint overlooking the whole property is amazing. We also enjoyed feeding the chickens and geese. There is a local bar (Cafe Primo Sergio) a 30 min walk from the house which serves good, home cooked food. The owner speaks very good English and both he and his wife are really friendly. The closest town is Cercal which is about a 10 minute drive away. It has everything you need, including an excellent bakery. Communication with the owner was excellent before and during our stay."

" Large rooms with good facilites. Decor using local materials. Very comfortable beds. Quiet room in spite of fronting the street. Slept really well. Excellent pools and very well maintained garden. Live music and good bar. The staff was outstanding. "

"Property was perfect for our needs. Not fancy, but very clean and enough room for my wife and I with our adult son. Although it could accomodate up to 5 guests, I would not recommend it. Quiet, little town with a couple of good restaurants and cafes. Short and easy 15 min drive to Vila Nova de Milfontes or Porto Covo with amazing beaches. Hosts were wonderful and communicative while we were there. Only slight downside was that once we left, the communication was almost non-existent although we had an important question. Overall, a great experience and would absolutely stay again."
