"The staff was incredibly friendly and kind."

"Wish their was a better option for breakfast on Friday morning. Edgewater was overwhelmed with Timbers being closed waited 20 minutes and still couldn't get a cup of coffee. Would think since Timbers is closed Friday mornings Edgewater might be better staffed for the rush. Also would like to see The Buffet open with a breakfast spread. Otherwise just have to go down the road which i'd like to eat before i go."

"The 'continental' breakfast costs $18.00. Way too much fir eggs, muffins, bacon and waffles. The room was noisy. The AC unit ead noisy. Children running up and down the halls yelling and slamming doors. The room looked out over the lobby where people socialized until very late. Parking costs $15.00 a night. Very low clearance, wet and dirty. A broken water pipe has left puddles. Repairs are ongoing throughout the building. The worst experience of my life! "

"This hotel was clean and.conveniently located. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and nicely furnished. The valet service made parking a breeze and the employees there were great— shout out to Owen who gave us directions and always had a smile on his face. "

"We drove five hours to get to South Bend and asked for a possible 3 PM check-in we were told no we would only be able to check in at 4 PM. The regular check in time. Then later message saying it would be 5 PM and the people were still cleaning. We were able to drop off bags, but we’re not able to access anything in the house and finally at 7:50. I messaged host and she said they were cleaners were leaving. Looking for compensation of 200 due to disturbance of stay with four hour late check-in which was unacceptable. Host said it was due to previous gas, but that was not our problem and we deserve to be compensated."

"Very clean. Enjoyed the Avanti memorabilia. Just what we needed for our stay. "

"Tom and Alice were perfect hosts. The room was spotless, more than enough towels, pillows, and blankets. Breakfast was superb. No reason to check out the big hotel chains after staying here. They even had snacks and drinks available at anytime. Definitely would stay here again."
