"There was a double booking. J'cups said that they have closed their account with hotels.com. However, they still managed to take bookings. Helen found us alternative accommodation for two nights, which I feel was not quite on par with what we received at J'Cups. We spent 1 night with J'Cups and then two nights with another accommodation and then two nights again with J'Cups. I would just make sure not to book via hotels.com again as they have no way of communication channels where these types...
"Beautiful setting, friendly staff. Room was spacious, bed comfortable with a nice solid mattress. Large shower. Everything spotless.
The only small negative was that the only two point plugs in the room were where the bed lamps were plugged into. In this age most chargers of electronic equipment require a two point plug. The room had sufficient normal three point plugs though, if one had known to bring an adapter.
Breakfast was fantastic.

"A convenient base for what I needed. Staff were super friendly and helpful. It’s fairly dated for design and decor but that possibly reflects in the price. The bathroom is about as compact as you can get and the shower is small - I kept knocking the water mixer to “off” while showering. Quiet considering its location. Duvet incredibly heavy for the current weather. No fridge, but plenty of ice available . "
