"Great family vacation. We walked to dinner in the neighborhood and walked the dogs to the park, and walked to the metro to take in the sites, museums, and even a caps game. Close to the airport and a huge shopping center. We recommend the District Biscuit company...very yummy and close by. The neighborhood is very dog friendly and theres a great park nearby for dmall children to play. The house is very quiet with plenty of room for the whole family."

"Little Oatlands was home for 9 of us for a flower filled week in May. We assembled from KC, BC, CA and VA to attend my daughter’s wedding overlooking the Potomac at Murray Hill. The property and approach to Little Oatlands takes your breath away! Flowering Dogwoods line the drive blending with the white fence and homes in the distance. Each of us walked down the lane to read the plaques and the history of the preserved property. Certainly a history lesson and it would be wonderful to know...

"We were 3 siblings with our spouses - plenty of room and very comfortable. Lots to do close by. Owner was great to work with - very responsive and attentive."

"Property is beautiful clean but could have used additional basic kitchen supplies such as alum foil Saran Wrap ziploc bags etc. To no fault of the owner Vrbo failed to send access code. However owner was very responsive providing the code at 10:30pm when we arrived."

Charles was a great host and responded quickly to any inquiries! He also was very accommodating of our request to shift our stay due to some unforeseen circumstances. "Everything was as advertised. The bed downstairs is in a room with very low ceilings, probably best for a child, and the bed is short as well. It is comfortable, but not for a tall person"

"I had the absolute pleasure of staying here the week before my college graduation. Carolina was so nice and the room was amazing. Everything was comfortable and I felt safe and secure the entire time I stayed. I got there a few days before my fiancé because he had work, but we both really enjoyed our time there and would most certainly return."

The neighborhood is one of the best - quiet, safe, upscale, and near supermarkets & metro. House is nothing special from outside, but is well maintained and very clean on inside. "The house was perfect for a spring break getaway. The house was perfect and is located in a quiet neighborhood. Within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and the Metro train going into DC. We enjoyed all the history and monuments of DC and it was nice to come back to a clean house and relax."

"What a great location!!! A short walk to Court House Metro station made access to our sightseeing very simple. The decor was cute and cozy. We were delighted by the toys for little ones away from home. Our family of 8 had plenty of room to spread out and get rested/ ready in the morning without being in each other’s way. Everything you are looking for in DC metro area rental at a very reasonable price. Would recommend!!"

"This house was great! Less than a 5 min walk to the bus stop and then a quick ride to the metro! We were able to spend all our days exploring DC and the house was stocked with plenty of blankets, pillows,towels, kitchen utensils, ect!"
