"The house was so cute and the perfect size for us. We enjoyed watching the Amish with their buggy from the front porch. We went to the flea market and only covered about 1/3 of it. We will need to make another trip later this summer to cover the rest. Weather was perfect."

"This house was very clean and laid out well for two adult couples or a small family. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds with plenty of linens. perfectly located for walking to restaurants, downtown and to the flea market (just behind the house). Very relaxing location in a nice neighborhood. Lots of Amish horse and buggy activity which gave the location the feel of being part of the community. "The home was very clean and decorated in an inviting, down-home way. It is charming just like the title indicates. The property is well maintained, including the outdoor spaces. We loved the front porch, as well as the back patio, where we enjoyed playing games under the shade of the tree. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. "This is my second time at the property. It’s just as incredible the second time as it was the first time. I hosted our staff retreat there. 11 of us ladies fit very comfortably as it is so spacious. We had a wellness retreat. The pool and hot tub, amazing grounds and incredible house made for the perfect setting. I highly recommend and the hosts are always excellent and accommodating!!! Don’t think twice, book it!"

"We had such a wonderful time! The home is beautiful! Everything from check in to check out was perfect! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed! The owners have thought of everything from the welcome sign to the delicious cookies waiting for us upon our arrival. We all enjoyed our visit to Middlebury and we will definitely tell friends & family to stay here if traveling through the area. It’s the perfect peaceful place to stay!"

"Overnight stay to be able to attend Ship Chic in Shipshewana. Needed a place with 4 bedrooms for 4 adult females. Emma’s place fit the bill. Great communication, adorable house. Only issue was garage next door had roofers starting at 7:30 am and property owner has no control over that. We’re hoping to travel up that way again and would love to have a repeat stay at Emma’s Place"

"This home has everything you could ever ask for in a VRBO. It's in a great location, in a peaceful neighborhood, with the best supplies of any short-term rental we have ever stayed at. There was even firewood for the pit! We stayed here while having our RV worked on and couldn't have chosen a better home. The bed was comfortable. Wi-Fi was great. Game room has pool table, foosball table and more. Mornings and evenings you can sit on the front porch and watch the horse and buggies go up and down...

"Was sent a confirmation. Then after driving 4 hrs. Didn't get arrival response couldn't get ahold of property manager, couldn't get in. Eventually had to find hotel. Never again!"

"This home is very spacious and private. I stayed here with my family. We had a total of 9 adults and 4 teens. There was a lot of room and we did not feel like we were on top of each other. The kitchen was well equipped with supplies for cooking. The home was clean upon arrival. The owner was great! He had great communication before our arrival and was great about checking on us during our stay. We would absolutely love to rent this home again if we were to return to Michigan."
