"The room was lovely and clean and the bed was very comfy, the hosts are lovely and friendly and very talkative and they offer lots of knowledge about walks and activities in wales and have leaflets avaliable with information about activities. "This hotel could be superb but needs TLC. Staff very good but the hotel needs lots of attention"

"Our room was clean but very basic and small. The bathroom has been recently updated and everything works great, including plenty of hot water. The parking is especially spacious for Wales! Restaurant food is typical pub food, tasty, generous portions and served piping hot. Friendly staff. Nothing fancy here, but good value for the money."

"These pods are first class, as is the pub. Incredibly friendly helpful staff, delicious food and a perfect location. Would highly recommend."

"Lovely clean cottage with everything you could ask for. Hardly any noise except for a few sheep and almost no passing traffic. Sue was very friendly and helpful. Well worth the money"

"Very friendly staff. Had some issues communicating with the hotel via email and Expedia messages, but were able to quickly resolve issues by phone and in person. Beautiful old hotel with modern features in the heart of Aberdovey."

"Fabulous cottage, really appreciated all the extra touches, large garden which our two cockers really enjoyed. Location great for walks and 12 mins drive to the beach. Would definitely recommend and we would book again. "
