"The Phoenix Hotel is beautiful and luxurious, with an open, airy feel and Asian art all over the place. The pool is very pleasant and well-used (including by my wife and me), and I also got a nice massage. Our room was nice, with a small deck overlooking the pool--though the hotel grounds are so extensive that it took a while to get there from the entry. The A/C and shower in our room worked well, but there was a problem with the shower pipes that created a loud noise and required periodically...
