"Hi I told my kids we would be staying somewhere else compared to usual when we visited Bathurst. I left my wife in the dark and said "Trust me" or more like trust all the other ratings on Expedia. The ratings dont lie, could not have asked for more for our stay, Super clean, well equipped, lots of activities for kids around the house. Close to Bathurst CBD and 300m drive to a very well stocked iga just in case you forget something. Both my kids and wife said as we left great choice lets stay...

"The Yurt is a hidden gem in O'Connell. The view from the veranda overlooks the beautiful landscape of country NSW. The kitchen is fully functional for light cooking. In cold winter days, the reverse cycle air cond and the electric blankets keep us warm and comfortable at night. It would be perfect if the WIFI signal could be stronger. I'd love to come back for longer stay in the future."

"Accommodation was great. It would have been better if the second television in the pool room was working so the children could have watched a movie at night I understand that water is a problem but the outside around the table and pool is very dirty. Also the broken step caused my elderly partner to fall on the hard surface. Could have been worse but I feel it should be fixed. Overall we had a lovely family get together."

"Fabulous house with 3 great double rooms for the grown ups and 1 single room for a child. (Bed not suitable for an adult). The gas fireplace kept us warm in June. Lovely big kitchen and a garden for the warmer months. Really close to town. Our host made sure the house was warm when we arrived. So lovely to walk in to see the fire on. Would highly recommend."

"The property was very quiet and easy to walk to the main street and restaurants. We would stay here again. It was very cosy and comfortable. The only drawback was that the side entrance was very dark and there were bricks placed on the walkway which were dangerous."

"Great apportunity to immerse yourself in the hustory of Parkes. Extensive garden and spacious house. Care should be taken with uneven flooring for elderly or young. Great for large family gathering with outdoor eating and pool if weather appealing. House was clean and more then comfortable for our stay. "This house was wonderful but there were a few problems … the stove didn’t work ( we were advised of this the day before arriving) but also the gas log fire wouldn’t ignite , the spa only had 2 jets working & the ducted heating was not connected at all. It was a pretty cold weekend & Meagan from the management team dropped around A couple of heaters . Overall the location security & bedding was fantastic & loved the underfloor heating in the bathroom !!! "
