"It was our first time in the castle itself, usually we stay in the lower hotel but the rates were comparable to the least expensive so I booked one night in the “castle”. The only complaint we really had was the heater in the room was controlled from a thermostat that was down the hall and was for the entire building so our room was either cold or way too hot even with the windows open in late April. "This was on a family trip after burying our mother. We were the ONLY ones staying, yet they wouldn't give us the cabin with wi fi. The old lock locked us out late at night and it took 30 minutes for them to help us. When I complained, they kicked us out and called the police who had us drive away in the middle of the night with an 11 yr old. "
