"This is an excellent hotel in Gamla Stan. It’s not cheap but considering what it offers it is a fair price for the money. We stayed here five nights in May, 2024. During that time we experienced snow, rain, winds and warm sunshine. The hotel offered large umbrellas that fortunately protected us from those first two cold and rainy days. Our room was a Captain’s double. It was large, clean and comfortable, although the shower is small. The bed was very comfortable and the room seemed soundproof...

"Great location"

"This is in the center of Gamla Stan. We got a corner room and it’s pretty big. We were there early May and weather was warm so we had the windows open. With the windows open, it was a little lou, early evening so I had to use ear plugs. The hotel is like a little museum, so cute. The receptionists are all very nice and helpful. I love the location of this hotel, cleanliness, size of room, breakfast, and staff and moderately priced 👍"

"We could not have picked a more convenient location, a short walk to the Central Station, Stockholm’s main shopping district and other sights. Comfortable rooms and beds. Small, but nicely fitted bathroom with great water pressure in the shower and heated floor. Staff were very personable. Nice selection at the buffet breakfast, including cook to order eggs and omelettes. The Bar Americain off the lobby is a happening place, popular with a trendy local crowd. "Great for a basic, short stay. Location is amazing near the airport express station and main shopping area, yet in a quieter street. .Breakfast was excellent. Great dining options of all prices nearby. Easy to walk or take transport to the main attractions. Comfortable bed, not so comfortable pillows. Wifi is hopeless in the evening. Electricity won’t work without the key in place so you can’t charge anything while you are out without a second key. No mini fridge so no ability to keep snacks...
