"I know, I know, you get what you pay for but this place was on another level of bad. The night staff was nice. That's the only good thing to report. This place is extremely rundown. We got to our non-smoking room, opened the door and we were hit with the smell of marijuana smoke and sour feet so strong I'd swear the culprit just left. The bedding was clean but the smell permeated everything. I could smell it in the towels the next day. It was bad. The phone is only decoration in our room. It's broken. The mattress...it felt more like a box spring. The A/C... don't turn it down to low because it starts clanging and banging so loud it will wake your neighbors. Woke up to little streams of light peeking through the curtains. In the dark you couldn't tell that someone used a cigarette to burn tweeker peep holes in the curtain. I didn't have "high" expectations for this place but I didn't expect it to be this bad when I booked it. Like I said...you get what you pay for."

"Hi, I wanted to formally report several serious issues with Room 212 during our stay from May 27th through May 29th at the Ramada in Medford, Oregon. Upon arrival, we found the frame around the door where the security latch/chain should be was ripped off. The security hardware itself is also not properly secured to the wall. The screws currently used are too short and do not appear to anchor into the wood framing, creating a safety and security concern. Additional issues in the room include: • Staining in the sink • A continuously running toilet that appears to need repair • Holes in the walls • Rust in the bathtub and deteriorating caulking • Significant buildup on the shower head • Floors that were not properly cleaned or mopped, including sticky residue • A duvet cover with sticky residue causing the fabric to stick to itself • An extremely loud bathroom exhaust fan that sounds as though it is failing and needs maintenance or replacement We also had concerns regarding the complimentary breakfast. The eggs were overly runny with visible liquid pooling and had an unusually sweet taste. The sausages were extremely dry, wrinkled, and appeared old. Additionally, there was no coffee available at the time we went to breakfast."

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Central Point - Medford

"I went in a little early as I was just coming from a 400 mile drive and the lady was very helpful with getting me a room before the three o'clock check-in. I want to make note that this hotel is the only hotel in the area that will let you bring your cat inside. Every hotel that said they are pet friendly are liars if they're dog only. Anyways, they have a swimming pool and free WiFi. They gave me 2 queen beds and it was a large room for me, my daughter, and her cat. Thanks for the good quick stay LaQuinta!"
