Musty rooms, ripped up sheets, broken drawers in the kitchen, filthy kitchen sink, old couches, dirty bathrooms, showers towels that smelled of smoke…I could go on. "Absolutely peaceful getaway! We spent the night here for a quiet, unplugged, & peaceful getaway and it did not disappoint. The house was fresh and spotless clean and not overwhelmed with artificial plug-in deodorizers (like many are). While there is a big TV and plenty of movies & games, we literally sat on the screened in porch and enjoyed the view until the sky was dark and again at sunrise. "The area is beautiful. Couldn’t get the heater to work properly. So it was a bit chilly. My husband did want to watch a little t.v. but the sound kept messing up. The screen door was broken and my husband was very concerned about the tape around all the outlets. He didn’t feel it was safe so we didn’t stay a second night. However, if you can get passed all that, it has a nice deck, the lake is just a few feet away and it’s just very pretty and peaceful."

"Not a bad little place. It’s lakeside but built further back from the water than the two houses on either side so you don’t get a fully unobstructed view of the water. Still nice enough view though and the included citronella candles came in real handy for the bugs. Communication back and forth with the owner a little bit slow but didn’t cause any major hiccups.
