"A family wedding was planned at Grand View Lodge. Everything was perfect. Lovely room, good food and the chapel was beautiful. The Heritage Room for reception was light due to windows in the ceiling. All in all it was a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend it."

"We loved the paddleboards, kayaks, floating dock, and pontoon. So many fun things to do on the lake. The fishing was good. It was fun to see the turtles too. The deck off our cabin was wonderful to sit on anytime of day, the spaciousness of our cabin was perfect for our family of 5. Our kids all had their own room. The full kitchen made it super easy to make our own meals. My only suggestion would be for more comfortable indoor chairs to sit on, maybe updated beds and bedding, curtains. The...

"This is a cute motel. The property was clean and we had excellent communication. We were able to get an early check in when we called which was wonderful. "This was a last minute, save the anniversary getaway from complete disappointment, back up. Our resort cabin plans had fallen through when we arrived at the resort so we had to find something close and fast. This establishment looked good and it was good. The staff was nice enough but greetings and smiles had to be sought out - they weren't offered freely. Maybe they were tired or just having a not great day, but it's always nice to be greeted with a cheery "hello, welcome to ..." and a "Good morning, how did you rest last night?" and we didn't get that until after we started the conversation. "
