"I love staying here. Found this place on line. Wasn't sure about the hotel because I travel to Kissimmee alot. Never heard or seen the hotel before. So we took a chance. LOVED IT. Had several family and friends stay there. Now we're trying to get a group there so we can get some suites."

"I always stay here when I arrive in Orlando. Staff has been helpful for a number of years that’s why I keep coming back. But they do need to fix the ice machines on the 3rd floor"

Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort

"Seeing that this hotel is themed in the 50's and 60's time era I did not think I would be a fan, but it was the most reasonably priced one out of all the Universal Resorts so I gave it a shot. I am so happy I did! The atmosphere was wonderful! with the dining room playing old commercials to the music, there is also an ice cream shop. They have the biggest gym and arcade I have ever seen in a hotel, they also had character visits in the lobby and a good size souvenir store. The hotel had plenty of choices for dinner and breakfast, the portion sizes of meals were good size. The staff from the front desk, to housekeeping and storing our baggage were all super friendly! I liked the walking distance to Volcano Bay. The shuttles to the parks and City Walk were consistent and convenient. My only suggestion to the hotel would be that when housekeeping is doing their daily turndown service is to check the levels of the conditioner and shampoo as we ran out on day two. The hotel is not in walking distance to any stores which you can pretty much get anything in their souvenir shop or food area but be prepared to pay. Early admission to the parks was definitely a plus. My two grown boys who are 18 and 25 really enjoyed the hotel and we would definitely stay there again!"

"Overall a decent stay for the low $$$. If you’re not going to be in the room much- however the bathrooms are older and have some wear and tear. The towels are also terrible…breakfast was not edible. The staff was so kind the woman at the front desk at check in was very informative. I wouldn’t stay here again but if you’re on a budget it’s doable"

"Only stayed for one day and had to sleep in a hot box.. when we arrived the thermostat was set to heat so we gave it time to get cool while we got food just to come back and it’s still hot..just to find out AT CHECK OUT that “the circuit breaker” tripped and they gave no accommodation for it…was very unsatisfied."

"Great location when overnighting between flights. Check-in was time consuming, but a staff member was ultimately helpful. Room was fine, but it was a good thing the wake up call I ordered was just a backup, since it never came."
