"The hotel is very clean, the staff is friendly and helpful and the 1 bedroom condo we had was very nicely decorated and comfortable. However, there is no air conditioning, which we were not aware of until after check in, and the box fan they provide is very loud, especially at night. There are no ceiling fans. The coffee maker in our room did not work and there is no coffee in the lobby and the coffee shop does not open until 7:30 am, much past the time I needed to have coffee. The pool / hot tub area does not open until 10:00 am and I would have liked to use the hot tub earlier in the day. The hotel's location is quite far from town and restaurants so bring your provisions with you if you just want to stay at the hotel."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Quality Suites Downtown San Luis Obispo! I loved how we were right by the pool and the lobby....very convenient. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and in the perfect location—close enough to downtown restaurants and shops while still being quiet and relaxing. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the made-to-order breakfast (included) was wonderful each morning. We loved sitting in the courtyard to eat breakfast or in the evening to relax. We also really enjoyed the evening happy hour and appreciated all the thoughtful amenities that made our stay feel extra special. Our family had a fantastic experience, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again the next time we're in SLO. Highly recommend!"

"The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful with whatever we needed, be it cocktails, directions, suggestions, or left-behind items. Another interesting plus was the depth of the pool. It's an older establishment, so the pool goes to around 9 feet. This is great for those who like to play and jump rather than just float and avoid wet hair. Will stay again!"
