"A mixed review. The room was fine, air-con worked well, nice bed and was clean. The bathroom was very dated, shower head didn't sit in cradle so water went everywhere. The restaurant is halal so doesn't serve alcohol with meal. They let people smoke in outside area even though there was a no smoking sign. Also people smoked in the indoor bar area - not nice. It's a bit expensive for a medium rated hotel. We arranged airport transfer to pick us up but driver left because our flight was 30 minutes...

"The hotel has good rooms above the gym on the 3rd level. These rooms are more expensive. When i booked the hotel room i chosed the cheapest room and when i arrived to the hotel I realised that they had out the good and pricier rooms photos on the cheapest rooms reservation page. "The hotel reception and bar staff are excellent. However the restaurant is appalling. The quality of the food is poor. There is very little vegetarian options, except for boiled veg. If you arrive at breakfast past 7:30am, there is hardly any food left and the staff do not replenish the plates. Even the coffee pot is not refilled! The staff try their best and are very helpful, but unfortunately it is not worth the money. There are better and cheaper places to stay in Maputo"

"When I arrived, the staff could not find my booking. After being there for over an hour, they eventually allowed me to have an inferior room to what I booked. I had to get quite blunt with them and speak to superiors over the phone. It's a good thing I speak Portuguese. They claimed that they don't use Expedia and that someone is posing as them.
