"We traveled with our elderly parents. The apartment was well equipped and decorated nicely. It is a busy street which we are not accustomed to and although the distances to city center are manageable for most people they were too long to walk for my parents. "Great location within the old city and close to all amenities and train station. The property had lots of character. Nice and quiet. Courtyard very pleasant and an added bonus. Lots of space and clean and functional. The one negative point is a very steep staircase and not easy to get up and down particularly with suitcase. "We had a wonderful stay in Lucca. Tommaso was a gracious host. He drove us to and from the train station and offered advice and information on what to see and do in Lucca. "Thank you Gianluca and Isabella for our wonderful stay in your beautiful apartment. The apartment was cozy, updated but had the charm of the original building. It was well appointed with everything we needed, very clean on arrival and perfectly located to everything. We did not book a taxi on the day of our departure and Isabella kindly picked us up so we would not be late for our train…so thoughtful, Gracie Mille!! "The room was perfect place to rest and recharge. It is quiet with soundproof windows and has a very comfortable bed. In the room, is a mini kitchen and table if you wanted to eat in. It was very clean as well. When we had an issue with the door, the host was very responsive and fixed immediately."
