"Nice place for stay in the middle of mountains "

"Great hosts! We arrived off season and on a Monday - the day the Pyrenees go on a diet! No restaurants in the town were open on arrival! Even a reservation for Tuesday was a challenge, but the hosts stepped up and found us a nice restaurant in the neighboring town. Perfect base to see three legendary places in the French Pyrenees "

"Charming old house with simple rooms and a wonderful common area referring to the regional tradition. Large kitchen available. Note: the property does not provide towels."

"The hotel is located on a side road in a modest size village. Very little traffic passes so it's not likely to attract passing trade but does mean it's very quiet with no vehicle noise in the rooms. The staff speak good English so communication isn't a problem. The room has a balcony with views of the mountains in the distance. Breakfast costs extra but is of high quality. The only issue is the soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty but the shower gel provided an alternative."
