Matilda, at check in, was enormously helpful with arrangements at Rifugio Auronzo, and suggestions for places to visit and restaurants to try, making reservations for us. Lots of construction in Cortina due to the upcoming Olympics, so expect construction cranes everywhere!"

"Upon arrival, we were able to pay 15 EU to park right behind the hotel in downtown Cortina. We had an amazing stay at Hotel Aquila - our room had a wrap around balcony with beautiful views of the city and mountains, and the hotel's location is walkable to all the shops and restaurants. Our room was very clean and spacious and the curtains blocked out the morning sun. Amazing stay!"

I think her name was Reena - she went above and beyond. She offered to make us breakfast boxes for the next morning because we were sing early to hike. The spa and pool felt Amazing after a day of hiking. We loved the location of the hotel. We will be back again! "

"The property is so incredible we extended after being onsite about an hour. Spa facilities, food, rooms, customer service, presentation and attention to detail was exemplary. We elected for half board and it was incredible and great value. Cannot wait to return. "
