Fabulous Farnham

From a very friendly & welcoming check-in, to a lovely room with good views to the excellent spa & gym facilities. Restaurants & bars are also very good, food was great with a wide variety to suit all tastes.

Excellent from start to finish. Delighted we were given a complimentary room upgrade at check-in. All the staff we encountered were exceptional including check-in & out ,bars ,breakfast room & Cedars Steakhouse. George the groundsman was super friendly and gave advice on the walks & estate facilities. Food in Cedars was exceptional and breakfast was first class. Our daughter & son-in-law were so impressed by what we told them they have booked 2 nts in Farnham later in October also.

Fab Overnight Break

Farnam is a lovely place for a little break. The spa area is super as are the grounds. Food was good, staff were helpful. No complaints I would stay there again for sure.

Great relaxing stay

Great breakfast and plenty of choice. Had dinner in Maxwells restaurant. Main course of seafood was delicious. Selection of breads wasn’t great and poor quality. Staff are lovely. Very comfortable bed.

We had the most relaxing, special weekend here. We have never experienced such amazing service, comfort and enjoyment in a hotel. Special mention for Samantha in Maxwell's restaurant. Such a pleasant and polite person. She is a credit to the hotel.

Check in was very quick and welcoming! Room was clean spacious and inviting. The bed was large but very hard. Everything about the hotel is fabulous, especially the spa and pool relaxation area. Breakfast was just amazing, such a great food choice especially those with dietary requirements. Lots of fruit and treats!

Our favourite place

Just back from our 2nd stay at Farnham for anniversary/birthday celebrations. Amazing as ways! Staff are so nice and nothing is too much trouble. Food in Cedar, Maxwells & the bar was great and their is always multiple vegetarian options. Hotel & grounds are spotless, staff always smiling! The spa is great for the price and there is a decent enough gym. Our favourite place and we look forward to our next visit!

Beautiful building. Spa and thermal suite was lovely .gym well equipped, great that you can use all after check out. Reception and breakfast staff were amazing but let down on Bar staff and some staff in Cedars restaurant. Waiting about 30 mins to get serviced a drink, if you go up to the drink you're totally ignored. Many people at other tables had the same experience. Restaurant staff and Bar staff very slow, Service was a little chaotic.Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Food was nice with very tasty Desserts. Breakfast is self service with lots of options with some made to order items.

Have been here several times now and always find the hotel and facilities to be excellent. This time we were staying in an accessible room and I found the bed to be very firm. Pillows also firm. Uncomfortable two nights sleep. Pillows would need to be renewed and a nice pillow - top mattress topper would would be ideal. For an accessible room, comfort is a priority. There also needs to be a low towel rail fitted in the bathroom. Will not put me off going back to the property as everything else is excellent. Would recommend for a quiet break away.
