"Nous avons passé trois jours dans le gite d'Arfons nous étions 10 adultes et c'était vraiment parfait Gite très confortable, le charme de l'ancien, mais avec tout le confort, très bien équipé Nous avons été très bien reçus à l'arrivée comme au départ, de belles balades a quelques minutes de voiture Bref un séjour parfait à recommander surtout si vous êtes une bande d'amis ou une grande famille"

"Erick and Isabelle's house was simply delightful. Spacious, comfortable, quiet, beautifully furnished and exceptionally well- equipped for our 2 week stay. They were lovely hosts, always happy to offer advice/recommendations on where to eat/visit. Welcome basket of delicious local produce was gratefully received too! Star of the show has to be Goose the dog who gleefully joined in the river swimming! Thoroghly enjoyed our stay!"

"House was beautifully well equipped, immaculately clean and tidy. It’s in an excellent location only 15 minutes from Carcassonne but with absolute peace and quiet. Local pool in the Village was great in the heat. The local butcher carries bread, pastries, preserves and lovely wine, not forgetting meat. Laurence was wonderful with ideas of where to visit, and was available for anything we needed but otherwise very discreet."

"Lovelly, old house in a large estate, with the owners property next door. About 10m from the local village. Superb 15m pool and surrounding area, great host, superb for wildlife, super relaxing."

"Lovely relaxing stay, wish it could have been for longer. Adrian and Ann-Marie are super hosts. The gite was clean and comfortable and well furnished with everything we needed. The outside deck was perfect for meals and relaxing in the afternoons/evenings after visiting local villages. And the pool was warm and a great size - we often had it all to ourselves. Would highly recommend."

"We had a wonderful week. We were made so welcome by the friendly owner and her family. The property is well equipped, comfortable and provided us with the peaceful environment we were in need of. The pool was very welcome, considering the glorious weather we enjoyed, although we were so busy discovering the surrounding area we didn’t make as much use of it as we would have liked."

"Nous avons passé un séjour calme et ressourçant. Si vous cherchez un endroit pour vous reposer, c’est l’endroit idéal. La localisation proche de Narbonne et Carcassonne est parfaite. Qun est très attentionnée envers ses locataires : Nous avons été accueillis avec des légumes et fruits du jardin ainsi qu’avec une bouteille de vin ! Seul point non mentionné dans l’annonce : il y a également une chambre d’hôte en plus du gîte donc on peut être amené à partager la piscine avec d’autres personnes."

"We've stayed in many self catering cottages and had a very different experience in this one. On VRBO the gite is advertised as having a lake view, its no where near a lake! After we'd paid for the gite the owner contacted us for €300 cash deposit, and told us about additional electricity charges per day. There was no mention of this on VRBO, so the owner waived the charge. We arrived at 4pm on a Sunday and immediately had to find a supermarket as no basics/welcome pack was provided e.g bread,...

"If you are looking for peace and beauty, then the situation of this home is perfect. Every day you will be greeted by two fab ponies and inquisitive chickens. Yes, a car is needed for exploring, but there was something so relaxing about coming home to the tranquility of the countryside. Plenty of walks nearby and only a couple of hours from the Pyranees, I would recommend this home if you are looking for an escape."

"I want to thank Tim & Hilde for the most glorious holiday. The gite was lovely and very clean. It had tons of space (inside & out) for our family (we are a family of 5 with older children) & is set in the most beautiful surroundings. We loved our evening bbq’s, sitting at the back of the house for long dinners in the warm evenings. The kitchen was a lot bigger than the photos and loved our breakfasts as a family in there. "Nous avons séjourné 3 jours chez Graham, 5 familles de 4 personnes, 10 adultes et 10 enfants. Le gite est très agréable, très beau et tout à fait adapté pour recevoir plusieurs familles. Chaque famille avait son espace privatif et pouvait se retrouver dans la salle commune que Graham nous avait gentiment ouvert. "We had a wonderful stay here, the place is centrally located amongst the vineyards. The settings is private and well appointed. We laid out at night on the loungers watching the stars. As it is located in the countryside the night sky was an amazing display of bright stars. Easy drive to Carcassonne or the Mediterranean. The town of la liviniare is close 5min drive with two restaurants. The host was welcoming and helpful on things to do in the region. We enjoyed our stay and would come again."

"This house is quirky and ideal for a stay in a village. It is close to all the amenities of Cannes and is quiet and perfectly placed for walk to the village centre and also strolls through the wineyards. Highly recommended as an excellent, well equippped house."
