"This hotel is brand new and so the satnav had great difficulty in finding it, but perseverance paid off. The room was smallish but fine and the bed was really good - a rarity in French hotels! "This is a simple, efficient, friendly and well-run hotel. Also has an excellent restaurant for a hotel of this size. In fact I literally just stayed at the Ibis Styles Châtelaillon-Plage which has a spa, a pool and is near the beach - a nice hotel too, but its restaurant really is pricey and mediocre. The Ibis Abbeville, supposedly a lower standard absolutely beats it hands down with regard to service and its restaurant."

"Very good stay in St Valery. The cottage was well situated, just a short walk along the river to everything. The peace was only broken by the train at the end of the garden and a seal having his breakfast outside one morning! The stairs are steep and a touch slippy - my teenage daughter fell once, but this had been flagged up by other reviewers, and no one else had a problem. Something to be aware of, if you have mobility issues. It is a charming house - clearly a lot of thought has gone into it, and there are nice touches everywhere. The garden was a sunny bonus, my children enjoyed it and we managed to have lunch out there using the supplied furniture. We had a brilliant break."

"This is a very well appointed appartment with a great view and location. Bright, modern and well-equipped it met the needs of three friends of a certain age perfectly. In better weather we would have sat more on the balcony which is a real feature of the appartment. Add a warm welcome by the owner and the charm of Le Crotoy, and we had an excellent stay."

"The hotel itself was quaint, clean, and easily accessible. however they did not have dedicated parking for the establishment and you have to be sure you park in the correct colored parking slots or you can be ticketed."
