Hipswell Hall Hipswell Hall is a 15th-century fortified manor house built for the Fulthorpe family, whose coat of arms is carved on the bay window to the right. The estate passed to the Wandesfords of Kirklington, and over the front door is a plaque dated 1596 with the initials of George Wandesford.
