"Check in was easy and bed was comfortable. The room was much more run down that I was expecting at $160 a night. Chair cushions were torn, the bathtub was stained, the toilet paper holder broken, and the bathroom fan sounded like it was about to fall apart. Plus the tv remote’s batteries were dead and the mini coffee pot didn’t work. For a “fall asleep on arrival and leave first thing in the morning” stay it was functional but wouldn’t want to stay longer than that."

"This was supposed to have 6 beds - there was one queen mattress on the floor of the loft and one double futon. Nothing more. To get to the loft, one had to climb a ladder with no handrails, just gripping the steps! As an older person, I could not do this. I was too uncomfortable. I did not trust that I would find it to get down safely in the night. The place was unlocked when we got there - for a person traveling alone, this was not ok. "My mother and I came down over Memorial Day weekend for a wedding over in Hudson. We had never stayed overnight on a boat before but Melissa and AJ were lovely - easy check-in process and lovely area! Our favorite was having a class of wine on the back of the boat in the evening. Nice quiet area. Mom and I often get seasick but we barely felt anything with movement at the dock. The boat does have a small fridge and a bathroom with a shower. Plenty of space for 3-5 people to fit comfortably....

"The number of bedrooms and bathrooms was great for the 13 of us. The big kitchen, pantry and long dining tables made for fun interaction. The game room with pool table and ping pong table were perfect for after dinner fun. Beautiful property on the river. We plan to go back. Historic homes are tough to maintain and our hope is that it is as nice in the future as it was this week."

Wonderful Night on the Catskill
