"I chose a more budget room, so my view wasnt very nice and overlooked by other rooms (the garden is lovely so maybe consider upgrading to a garden view). However, the room was large, well maintained and I didnt notice any significant cleanliness issues. Bathroom had plenty of surface space for toiletries. The car park can get quite full if an event is on. Food and drinks I thought a little pricey (large glass of wine and a burger £37). Pool was nice and lots of gym equipment."

"Really nice hotel, worth a stay. I have stayed here a number of times while working in the North. I chose to stay here on a weekend break in the lakes because it's such an original hotel. Get a room with a view of the bay."
