"I got sick on my stay and had to be taken away in an ambulance. The hotel staff were absolutely incredible. They took care of me, walked (and fed!) my dog that I had to leave in the room and went above and beyond. Didn't get to experience the pool but the rest of the hotel was great."

"We had a decent one night stay at the Timberline Inn while in the area to hike around Mt. St. Helens. There are few accommodations in this area. The front desk manager was friendly and helpful and they offer complimentary water, fruit and cookies in the small lobby. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable although the pillows were all a bit overstuffed for my taste. "Check-in time was 2-6 PM. 6PM is too early. I had to make special arrangements to check in at 8PM. There was confusion over my departure date. "We stayed three nights at this top-floor rental. It met our needs perfectly. Michael is a great Host. We were using it as a base for kayaking in the Columbia River. It's an excellent place for that. We loved the community of Cathlamet, which is just a short drive away. It's a cute town. We also took the ferry across the Columbia that leaves Puget Island every hour. We will be back again."

One perfect day in Astoria
"This was a cool stop on our trip, our last night before returning to PDX. Love the hotel, and staff was great. Particularly Elyse who checked us in. While we waited for our room we walked the wonderful path into town for farmers market, lunch at Mo's and tour of maritime museum. took the trolley back for a dollar. great way to kill time while waiting for room to become available. hotel is clean and very well laid out."
