"This was a lovely secluded property that allowed us to take our dog for a few days in the mountains. It was only 10 minutes into downtown Mariposa, and an hour to an hour and a half to Yosemite depending on which entrance you take: Arch Entry 1 hour, South/Mariposa Grove 1 1/2. "This was a great home base for my wife and I during our visit to Yosemite! The cabin is clean and off the road a bit so it’s nice and quiet and dark, just as we wanted. Owner left a snack basket for us which was a nice touch. Only surprise was that the Master BR was on the second floor and the bathroom upstairs didn’t have a bath or shower in it. Not that big of a big deal, but worth noting. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!"

"Location is amazing if planning on spending your time at Don Pedro lake it was only a 10 minute commute. The host was fabulous to work with and responded quickly to all questions. A great perk is a dollar general is just down the road for any of those last minute items you may have forgot. The home provided easy access to park with the boat as well. "We were on a 15 day road trip with 5 adult family members and this was our Yosemite leg. The home was very nice and I would visit again, but there are a few things visitors should know. The “sofa bed” is a very hard futon that did not sleep well. If you have a young child this may work, but definitely not for an adult. The shower door in the primary bathroom does not seal And if you are not careful you will flood the bathroom and the floor becomes very slippery. All in all we enjoyed our stay!"

"We had a short stay of one night after a day trip to Yosemite. The house was great. There was no cell service (AT&T) but the house Internet was super fast. The nearby town had lots of restaurants."

"We enjoyed our stay. The cabin is perfectly located on top of a mountain. The drive isn’t bad at all. if you’re into nature and just want some peaceful time away from the city noise, this is the place for you. A nice size pool and a hot tub is a bonus. We watched the sunset and it was absolutely phenomenal. The host is super friendly and attentive. In addition, he gave us useful tips so we can enjoy our stay and be safe. Thank you Chad!
