"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Grand Hotel Terme. Great beach with a fun strand to enjoy a walk with lots of restaurants. Federica was the hotel rep at the front desk was a total pro and so nice. The hotel manager, Gianni Cegue was very helpful with parking and couldn't have been nicer also. If we ever get back to this part of Italy, will definitely stay here again!"

"The room, like the hotel, was run down. The whole place needs to be modernized. The air conditioning in my room wasn't working (it was 38C outside). I told the staff, they said that there was nothing that they could do. I spent a very uncomfortable night there. "The cleanliness was on point and the cleaning lady was really nice. Reception was alright, but I had to wait 2 days for someone to come and fix the shower cable, after I had told them 3 times. Even after the shower cable was ‘fixed’ though, there was still water coming out of the shower plate, which developed a small flooding each time I would shower. That, I had told them too. They did offer another room, but I was staying just for 3 nights, so I declined. Okay, in the overall."

"A complete and utter five-star hotel experience. A small, 10-room hotel overlooking the sea, the old city, and an immense gorgeous old church. "Hotel is not a hotel but a room for the night. You get a token to present to one of two cafe for a coffee and pastry in the morning which is the free breakfast. The reception is always closed, even at the announced opening times which is inconvenient. It’s rather basic. However it in a great location with everything you need close by but you are basically fending for yourself. I wouldn’t let it put you off if you are confident in staying in a room in a building that has no other facilities....

"After a travel mishap we were lucky to stumble upon Duomo Guest House on Expedia. It was not only perfectly priced for an unexpected extra night of vacation, but also in a prime location! Michele was a delightful host and even upgraded our room for us. The newly renovated room and bathroom was perfect and our balcony offered quaint views of Barletta. The shower was so nice, and the mattress super comfortable. The building, being a historic convent was such a cool place to stay in. Michele shared a clear pride for his city and gave us some tips on how to spend our evening. We had a delightful complimentary breakfast at a local cafe, where I had one of the best cornettos that I've had in Italy! We had never expected to visit Barletta, but thanks to Duomo Guest House, we definitely anticipate coming back next time were in Puglia. "
