"This a GREAT boutique hotel. The rooms were great. The location was great. The front desk staff went out of their way to help us. Breakfasts (included, but cooked to order) were delicious!! Check out time was 11am, but there was an area where one could rest (or even take a shower) while waiting for a plane or cruise ship). stay here!!"

"The fire escape route from room 501 takes you into a spiral stone staircase which is very narrow, dark in places and blocked near the bottom by bags of rubbish. This was reported to the hotel Guest Relations on the day of arrival but when checked the next few days, nothing had changed. This is a death trap for anybody who uses this fire escape route as per the instructions in the room folder and the fire escape plan in the room and corridor outside the room. I provided this feedback to Expedia mid-stay of the holiday and they said this would be passed to management at the hotel, but nothing happened to the rubbish blocking the stair It is disappointing that nothing was done. This gave me sleepless nights for the weeks stay, If anybody else is going to stay at this hotel, I would not recommend not staying in this room or 502 or the Penthouse above."

"A really nice boutique hotel that is well situated close to all the amenities in Valletta old town. The staff are really friendly and helpful, especially the breakfast room staff. Breakfast is very good, the only minor grumble being that the pastries were very dry. The rooftop area with swimming pool and bar is a nice place to relax after a heavy day of sightseeing."

"Overall I found the hotel to be reasonable for the price. It was clean and the staff were friendly. I found the breakfast area to be a bit small for the numbers of people using it, particularly at the peak time around 9am. At that time it was hard to find a table and navigating the buffet amongst the crowds was not a pleasant experience. There were a couple of building-related issues during my stay. At one point one of the two available lifts went out of use meaning a 7-floor climb up the stairs. On another occasion a plastic piece of the aircon system in my room fell off. It was promptly repaired. Would I stay there again … maybe, I wouldn’t rule it out."
