"Villa Rene is very spacious and has everything you need for a very relaxing stay. The heated pool was lovely and the opening and closing of the cover was very simple. We were greeted by Geoff who showed us everything and explained how to use the more complicated items including the TV which you can get all the UK channels. The Gas barbecue was brilliant and the choice in the supermarkets for fresh meat, vegetables and fish were amazing. The Villa was extremely quiet and secure and the location is only a 15 minute drive to the Cité which is brilliant. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return."

"Lovely hotel. Bedroom was a good size and beds were very comfy. Bathroom was a little outdated. Unfortunately the hotel restaurant was full and couldnt accommodate us for dinner. The rest of the town was quiet so was a struggle to find somewhere. Hotel overall was lovely and good experience."

"We had a great week exploring this fantastic area which is steeped in history! Annie was a lovely host - it was cold during our stay and she provided us with a plentiful supply of wood for the stove to ensure our comfort. The station itself is full of character and the small train that passes each day just adds to the whole experience. Would highly recommend! Merci beaucoup Annie x"

"The manager Florien was a gem. We got lost & he came to rescue us. A lovely warm welcome. We got an upgrade to the big suite and he carried our bags upstairs. Gave us a tour of the property. Such a delightful man. This guy should teach others at customer service school. Room and bathroom beautiful. Then the breakfast. OMG. Amazing. One of our best stays."

"Had a lovely stay at La Betyna. Leila and Pasqal were great hosts, they provided restaurants and shopping recommendations in the Old City of Carcassone which is about 10-minute drive from hotel. Within walking distance theres the Chateau de Pennautier a winery-restaurants definitely worth a visit. Look forward to another stay at La Betyna."

"Beautiful property with heated pool and tennis courts. Nice boxwood walking garden. Thé night clerk was very nice and solicitous. Did not eat there but thé menu looked good. Loved thé ivy covered stone walls and nooks to sit and read or nap."

"Property is perfect for a family stay, roomy, clean, and everything you need inc English TV for the kids and a few games. Swimming pool was lovely, clean, and gated for safety. Hosts were both welcoming and very helpful with bits of advice or loaning of an umbrella when occasion arose. The area is tranquil and beautiful, nearby towns, villages and lakes have everything you might need and make for lovely outings. Lots of good visits further afield too but we didn't bother. Recommended, and we may well book again."
