"We chose the Villa Romeo due to its location to the main train station, it's just across the street. We were only staying one night before flying from Catania to Rome. The hotel is old but well maintained. We enjoyed our brief stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was typical but could be eaten in the beautiful courtyard which is filled with plants, very pretty. Overall a fine visit. "

"We stayed at the hotel Royal for 2 nights in October. The hotel is located just a 10 minute walk from the centre, however it is up quite a steep hill, so if you have a lot of baggage it’s not ideal. The room itself was ok, not as nice as the one shown in pictures but the bed was comfortable. Sadly the room smelled of feet and we had no toilet seat and had request one.One of the main reasons for booking was the jacuzzi, however we later found it was €30 per couple per hour to use. "The hostess was lovely- very helpful. My only problem was that I locked myself in the bathroom and for 1 and 1/2 hours couldn’t work out how to unlock the door. Very traumatic as no one else was on the premises. "
