I have been in this hotel already multiple times. It is really close to the city center and has direct access to the Goldschmieding Park. The breakfast is in the old Goldschmieding castle. Over the last years the added more vegan breakfast options. The stuff is super helpful if you have food allergies. The offers a free storage for bags.

I liked thr grounds, the staff, and the position on the edge of the old town. It was a shame that the restaurant has not yet reopened other than for breakfast. There was plenty of parking but some of it was in a more public, less concealed position so some concern about security but did not have any problems.

Might have been a great 4 star hotel, once upon a time, but it isn’t anymore. The lack of coffee and tea making facility in the room, the staff trying their best, but not managing to keep up… it’s a shame. For the price, I would have gone to another hotel.

This property was overall good however it is missing certain elements that in today’s day you just require: Such as, - Air conditioning in the rooms - it was boiling hot, the fan did not cut it - safety deposit box - ironing board and iron - WiFi was weak - Called the front desk no one answered I would not go back unless they make these changes Overall rating is 6/10

Hotel a bit difficult to locate due to street variances. Parking was to right side of hotel and not in front at the original main entrance. Hotel was clearly an elegant option in it's day with a large inner courtyard still furnished with table/chairs. Friendly receptionist buzzed me in for a side door entry. Room was clean/quiet and above average size. Continental breakfast was provided in a separate building across the inner courtyard. Nice adjacent restaurant may have been part of property and seemed to be well attended by local diners who shared the parking lot.

er mooi en proper op wandelafstand van het dorp castrop rauxel. Enige minpunt is de weinig informatie bij aankomst. We moesten bijv. Zelf vragen welke uren onbijten en ze misten dan nog met een half uur waardoor we bojna te laat waren smorfens. Voor de rest zeer aan te raden
