Private sea access and huge garden (house C)

Nestled in a pinewood forest of 2.5 acres with direct access to the sea this villa with three bedrooms and three bathrooms offers all you need for a relaxing holiday, far away from everything. You will immerse yourself in a corner of paradise where you will smell the scents of the Mediterranean and listen to seagulls and cicadas interrupted only by the sound of the waves.
This villa is located in an exclusive and unique estate consisting of seven villas and trulli, divided from each other by a pinewood forest. A place known as "La Palombara" and popular with VIPs in the seventies and eighties. At the end of 2019 we rediscovered this heavenly place and we choose to enhance, upgrade and redesign parts of it. It is now available for guests that are looking for a hideaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. In the photo gallery you will find a map of the entire grounds.
A private path leads from the property directly to the sea. On your way down, you will pass some picnic areas with breathtaking views. Once on the rocky beach, you will find four access points for swimming, diving, snorkeling or fishing in the crystal clear water of the Lower Adriatic Sea. It might be possible to see passing dolphins especially from the picnic areas. (Caution: the path and access to the sea from the rocks is not suitable for small children or people with disabilities).
The villa is on two levels, connected via internal stairs: two double bedrooms, each with private en-suite bathroom, kitchen and a large living room on the upper floor; on the lower floor, another bedroom with a bathroom. The interiors are simple but functional; there is no TV nor air conditioning, but the thick walls and pine trees mitigate the heat of the summer sun. The partly shaded terrace, immersed in the mediterranean vegetation, offers a beautiful view of the sea just below the house.
A large barbecue area and an outdoor shower complete the picture.
The well-known fortified village of Castro, with its bars, cafes, restaurants and a supermarket, can be reached on foot in just ten minutes. The walk is along a charming path under the ancient Messapian walls. For those who prefer sandy beaches to rocks, the enchanting sandy beach of Porto Miggiano is 5 km away; very charming are also the coves of Porto Badisco and the long sandy beaches of Alimini, north of Otranto.

🛏️ Sheets, duvets and towels are not included. If you don't want to bring them with you from home, regardless of the length of your stay, you can rent them for €20 per person. Beach/pool towels are not provided.
🧽 Final cleaning is not included and costs €100, unless you clean yourselves before departure.
🐶 Dogs and pets are allowed (max 2 dogs or pets, surcharge €60 per dog/pet). You will need to inform us in advance.
💰 We will ask you to pay a security deposit of €600 before arrival. The security deposit will be refunded within 7 days after departure, if there is no damage.
⚡ Electricity costs (and thus where applicable AC, hot water, heating etc.) are NOT included in the price and will be charged based on your actual consumption. The price per kWh charged to guests was €0,34 on 12/11/2023, when this text was last updated, but as prices are fluctuating a lot, your actual price per kWh will be communicated a few days before your arrival based on the current market price.
We decided not to include electricity costs in the rent in order to: a) keep our rental prices stable despite inflation and b) incentivate our guests to use electricity responsibly, helping us to reach our sustainability goals. Thank you for your understanding.

Wir haben das Haus nicht nutzen können ,entsprach nicht den Fotos,sondern war total heruntergekommen, kaputtes Mobiliar..Habe fotos davon. Wir haben sofort angerufen ,eine Megan versprach Rückruf von einem Olivier, der nicht erfolgte. Wir haben ca.10mal vergeblich bei wowhomes angerufen , niemand nahm ab. Fühlen uns geprellt .Ich hatte ihnen deswegen schon eine Mail geschickt und keine Antwort erhalten ...? Bitten um kKaerung, behalten uns sonst rechtliche Schritte vor . Mfg Sabine Debus
