"What a wonderful spot to relax and unwind. Easily accessible from main routes but nonetheless utterly tranquil. Dark skies at night, wonderful fresh bright mornings and lazy afternoons by the pool. Nick and Jenny are delightful hosts and we won’t hesitate to return. "

"Een heerlijk verblijf in het huis van Patrick en Yvonne. Ze hebben ons goed verwelkomd en wisten ons nuttige tips te geven. De keuken is wat verouderd maar geeft zeker geen beperkingen. Het huis is koel, eventueel kan de airco ook aan. Dat was niet altijd nodig ofschoon we er midden in de hete weken waren. De badkamer is zeer comfortabel, een heerlijke doche! Het terras nodigt uit voor heerlijke ontbijtjes en lekkere diners en een wijntje en een kaasje achteraf. We hebben uitgebreid de sterren...

"My stay was only for 1 night because I was travelling to another location, but host was very friendly and helpful. There is also a big garden and room to let my dogs run. So all in all good experience"

"Le gîte est suffisamment grand pour une famille de quatre personnes. Belle piscine très bien entretenue et très agréable. Les enfants ont bien profité de la piscine et de la table de ping-pong. Le village de Sauve est à deux kilomètres seulement, accessible à pied ou à vélo par un chemin. Pas mal d’activités sportives (canyoning, canoë, spéléo, randonnée...) et de visites possibles dans les environs, mais on peut aussi faire le choix de profiter du calme et de la piscine pour se reposer....

"We spent 3 weeks at Alice's place, and there is nothing to say other than "thank you". It is a wonderful, comfortable, peaceful place. All you need for a relaxing holiday is there, in a lovely atmosphere. If we may suggest, test the fresh baguettes from Sommieres City Center Boulanger. "We really enjoyed our stay at Ostal Philia as part of a family group. On arrival, we were very pleasantly surprised by the size of the house and the layout allowing for privacy as well as providing great communal spaces. Having a pool was a big advantage, with plenty of beach towels, as was the large kitchen and dining area outside for our family to enjoy. "Venus dans la région pour un anniversaire surprise, nous avons pu dès notre arrivée visiter Sommières à quelques kms du gîte ainsi que Nîmes ( proche aussi) le lendemain. Combats est un village très calme, bien entretenu."
