"We stayed here for 2 nights with our daughters (4 adults) to attend a graduation ceremony. It was perfect for our needs - great location with the bonus of parking and being next to the railway station. Very peaceful and the facilities were excellent. We were made to feel very welcome. We would recommend and would definitely stay there again when visiting York "

"The location of the house was brilliant but it was very tired. Things was broken, the second bed very uncomfortable and it needed some tlc."

"Stayed at Apple Tree Corner in Harrogate and we arrived late to a spotlessly clean house that was tastefully furnished with all the amenities we needed. Location is ideal, a 15 mins stroll into the centre of Harrogate. Nice quiet and very private location. Loved that the car was safe and it had FREE parking (had to pay everywhere else in Harrogate). The host had some brilliant suggestions in the guest book so we tried Brimhan rocks and Betty’s Tea Room which are highly recommended. Would love to...

"A great location for a weekend away in York. The property was spotless when we arrived and great communication from the owner. 25 minutes to walk into the centre of York, via the river path and free in street parking was a real bonus."

"Booked Brook Hall for a stag weekend of 12 guys, which Edward was happy to accommodate. It was a fantastic base while we spent most of our time out and about in York (20 - 30 minutes away) and Leeds (30 - 40 minutes away). Thanks for the recommendation of Dougies taxis as well, this was really helpful and they were great with really friendly drivers. Lovely location and house, particularly the garden. "We stayed here for a few nights while competing at the JK orienteering festival, based upon Sheffield. The cottage was very comfortable and well-located for us. Seeing Lapwings and hearing Curlews was a bonus. Many thanks."

"This is an excellent house in a nice York neighbourhood, with easy access to the city centre. The property is beautiful and very well-maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here."

"This property is seriously lacking in basic amenities that usually come as standard in any rental property, for example:No coat hooks on the ground floor meaning you need to leave your coat over the back of a chair - not great if there are more than 4 of you in the property.You advertise a fully equipped kitchen however there is no teapot, no coffee maker or cafetière, no dishwasher and the hob and oven were so dirty that we could not use them. "We have stayed here before, and really enjoyed the location and the house. It’s a perfect location for us, a good sized flat, and well-equipped. The one issue we had this time was that it was late November and very cold, and the heating had not been switched on before we arrived.
