"We were looking for a quiet peaceful weekend away, and this was the perfect place. Didn’t see anyone else about the place until check out. They do have a pub beside the property if you’re looking for something a bit more lively. The lodge was amazing. It was beautifully decorated and remarkably spacious. The kitchen area was a bonus and allowed us to have leisurely breakfasts without having to head out. I would recommend a stay here, and we will be planning to stay here again."

"Beautiful grounds! Barmeath castle is an experience from the gardens to the tennis courts. Our kids loved the new puppies. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. We would love to come back again in the future."
